A fully overhauled Yamaha TDR250 two-stroke 250cc with cross-chamber intake. The seller, a former racing mechanic with expertise in 1KT-series engines, has completely rebuilt this machine. Over 2 million yen invested including purchase price. Engine overhauled with OEM 0.25mm oversize piston, new con rod, balanced crank, YPVS cleaned and decarbonized, transmission overhauled with new bearings and seals, carburetor overhauled. Frame disassembled, cleaned, and rust-treated. Tank cleaned, OEM fuel valve new. Cooling system: OEM radiator replaced with good unit, new SAMCO hoses. Front forks: new OEM seals, slide metal, and boots, OEM oil changed. Rear shock rebuilt by Banashox, linkage overhauled and greased. Wheels: new black anodized rims front and rear, rear upsized one size, new bearings. Tires: Dunlop TT900GP, tubeless conversion done. Brakes: Nissin radial pump, mesh hoses, MOS caliper overhauled, rear master and OEM rear caliper overhauled, new front pads. New chain and sprockets. New battery, reupholstered seat. ROUGH & ROAD RALLY690 mirrors. Includes OEM optional rear carrier, factory tools, 32mm wrench, service manual, footpegs, spare parts (new and used). Odometer shows 38,536 km; 810 km since engine overhaul. Seller emphasizes thorough maintenance but has deliberately not brought cosmetics to showroom finish; year-appropriate scratches, rust, and wear remain.
