This is a fully customized Yamaha RZ250R, listed on consignment for a neighbor of the seller. The build includes a 4mm stroke-up crank, 1.5mm oversized pistons, a lockup clutch, a PWK-type 30mm carburetor, Yamaha YZF-R6 front forks (0.75-rate springs), a pro-arm swingarm, Ducati 996-sourced Marchesini M5R magnesium wheels (front 3.5J with a 120/70 tire, rear 6J with a 200/55 tire), Brembo Stylema calipers, a stainless steel cross-type exhaust chamber, and rearset foot controls. The steering lock still functions. The seller states there are no mechanical issues, and the bike has covered roughly 3,000 km since the rebuild was completed. It is registered in Japan as a 250cc-class motorcycle, with compulsory insurance (jibaiseki) valid through April of the following registration period. The seller notes they ride it occasionally so mileage may tick up slightly before it ships. Despite the internal displacement increase (referred to as 390cc, similar in spirit to the RZ350R/RZ350), the bike retains its 250cc registration status.
