Yamaha R1-Z 3XC from June 1990. The seller began restoration work but must sell due to circumstances. Engine runs. Currently registered for test riding; upon purchase, seller will deregister and send documentation and spare key by mail.
Extensive recent service completed: carburetor overhaul, new insulator, new air filter, front and rear brake master cylinder and caliper overhaul, new brake pads front and rear, rear suspension link disassembly and cleaning, new chain, new stem bearing races and balls, throttle chamber internal cleaning, new aftermarket throttle cable (YPVS and oil pump parts original), tank rust removal, new tank cap, new battery.
Two keys included (one original, one from tank cap replacement). Sold as-is. Pickup welcome on weekends; if shipping required, buyer arranges and pays for freight.
Seller grades this as showing scratches and dirt. All mechanical work and wear consistent with a 1990 two-stroke restoration project.
