Yamaha Newsmate V50 2-stroke, maintenance complete, lowered suspension, one-kick start

Yamaha Newsmate V50 two-stroke business bike. The seller reports the engine starts reliably on one kick and runs well despite the bike's age. This model features rare round turn signals; most Newsmates have square ones. Originally a newspaper delivery machine.

Comprehensive maintenance completed with new parts: front and rear tires and tubes, front and rear suspension, front bottom-link bushings, aftermarket muffler (OEM-style), Takegawa battery, stem bearing lubrication, lowered suspension setup (front clipping point, rear aftermarket chrome suspension), spark plug, grips, digital tachometer, LED headlight bulb, fuse box conversion to blade fuses, drive and driven sprockets, chain, and two-stroke oil line re-routed due to leaks. Offset kick arm fitted when previously fitted with a chamber.

Seller acquired the bike in December 2025 for ¥63,000, spent over ¥50,000 on parts alone through May 2026, and rode it daily for commuting that month. Currently ridden occasionally on weekends. Front basket removed and stored; can be reinstalled. Bike is currently registered and test-ride capable. Seller offers optional chamber exhaust (shotgun type) for additional cost and handling of delivery within reasonable range at lower cost than freight forwarders.

Seller grades this "slightly scratched and dirty." Body shows some surface rust and minor scratches consistent with age, but the seller reports good bodywork with vibrant blue color and shine. All mechanical systems described as well-sorted.
