Yamaha DT230 Lanza 4TP1 Restore Base Engine Included Many Parts 2-Stroke

Yamaha DT230 Lanza 4TP1, model code 4TP. A long-stored motorcycle purchased for a full restoration. Currently dismantled with the engine removed from the frame. Includes documentation and keys. Engine block, carburetor, radiator and cooling system parts, air cleaner box, OEM chamber and silencer, generator, and exterior panels are included. Also supplied: DT230 Service Manual, 1997 Lanza DT230 Service Guide, and DT230 (4TP1) Parts Catalog. Known missing parts: cooling water tank, chain, magnet rotor, battery. Small fasteners, hoses, and clips may be missing; judge by photographs. Engine has not been started or tested. Visible rust on exposed crankshaft where magnet rotor was removed. Internal engine condition unknown, not disassembled for inspection. Frame shows age-appropriate scratches, dirt, rust, corrosion, and deterioration. Tires are cracked and require replacement. The DT230 Lanza is a final-generation Japanese 2-stroke trail bike. Restoration manual and parts catalog are included; some new replacement parts are available from overseas suppliers. Suitable for a restorer or parts donor. As of October 5, 2026, the exterior side cover is confirmed missing.
