Suzuki Mametan OR50E, Non-Running, Restoration or Parts Bike, Missing Components

1980-model Mametan OR50E, a 50cc two-stroke moped with disc brakes and cast wheels. The seller purchased this used over 45 years ago, rode it for about two years, then stored it at a family home. It was retrieved 5–6 years ago and partially restored before being held in the seller's shop warehouse. The bike is now offered as a restoration project or parts donor.

Engine is currently non-running but cranks over; last ridden long ago with no known seizure at that time. Odometer reads 12,646 km, believed to be genuine mileage. Frame and engine numbers match (OR50-1468 and OR50-1470, respectively). The engine will require full restoration.

Missing original throttle cable and clutch cable. Front fender was replaced with a color-mismatched used unit from auction. Left and right side covers have been stripped to bare plastic for repainting. Tail cowl was cut at the front during the seller's ownership and is stripped for repainting. Seat is a used replacement with a tear on the right side. Fuel tank was swapped for a matching used unit due to rust perforation in the original; new tank has light surface rust but no holes.

Front suspension has rust on inner tubes and minor oil seepage; re-plating and seal replacement recommended. Rear suspension shows age-typical rust and wear; replacement advised. Front and rear tires are original IRC (Inoue) with 7/10 and 8–9/10 tread remaining but hardened with age; replacement recommended. Cast wheel rims and spokes show corrosion but no deformation.

Electrical system untested due to missing battery and non-running engine; some wiring connectors have been disconnected during restoration prep. Brake system has a Honda G-Dash caliper installed in place of failed original mechanical unit; mounting plate requires modification and brake pads are missing. Main switch, seat lock, and handlebar lock function confirmed. One copy key only; spare key creation recommended.
