This is a RECARO LS model seat finished in orange stripe using new-old-stock genuine 360 fabric, believed by the seller to be among the last deadstock of this material worldwide. The seat was fully disassembled down to every screw and professionally overhauled by a RECARO specialist shop, which the seller says brings it up to new-item quality; an overhaul certificate from the shop is included, and the headrest was overhauled as well. The seller explains the fabric is the 'late-model' version: the earliest orange fabric had a higher wool content and felt nicer, but wore quickly and the RECARO logo would fade; the later fabric was modified to fix this and increased the color gradation from 8 to 10 tones. Foam quality on these early-production seats is also noted as excellent. This particular seat has RECARO's Japan-market 'R' knee bolster design intended for shorter drivers, a genuine factory option that also angles the RECARO logo for better visibility.
