A rare 1960s Meguro SG250, a restored example from the era when Meguro became Kawasaki Meguro. The single-cylinder engine is said to start reliably by both kick and electric start with no unusual noise. However, the fuel petcock is faulty and does not supply fuel properly; the petcock requires replacement. Lighting works normally. The odometer reads approximately 9,800 km. Restoration work has been performed in the past and most components are clean, including the spokes. Chroming may have been re-done; the finish is polished but not mirror-bright and has a good patina. Some rust and scratches are present; the fuel tank has dents. Front and rear tires still have tread. Aftermarket grip heaters have been added. The motorcycle is sold as-is and unserviced; the seller advises obtaining a pre-ride inspection and maintenance from a qualified motorcycle mechanic. Documentation includes a deregistration certificate and transfer papers. No current vehicle inspection. Located in Saitama Prefecture.
Seller grades this as somewhat scratched and soiled. The fuel petcock requires replacement before operation; otherwise the engine starts and runs but needs professional inspection and maintenance before riding.
