Description

1985 Mazda Savanna RX-7 GT-X, early FC3S chassis, 2-door coupe, 5-speed manual, white. 151,000 km actual mileage. Engine and control system modified approximately 15 years ago by a Hiroshima shop: FD3S late-model rotor housing with side port porting, FD3S 9.0 rotor, FD3S eccentric shaft, FD3S supercharger seals, FD3S ignition system (coils and igniter), FD3S early PowerFC ECU, D-Jetro airflow-less conversion, FD3S intake temperature and pressure sensors, custom harness, FD3S fuel pump. Turbo is OEM high-flow unit (maker unknown) with wastegate control, approximately 1.0 kg boost. Injectors are FC OEM equivalent (550 cc × 4). Compression measured one year ago: both rotors 8.0 or higher, chamber variance 0.5 or less. Aftermarket front intercooler, blow-off valve, wastegate, air cleaner, muffler, catalytic converter, coilover suspension, steering wheel. FD3S Torsen differential (details unclear). US Mazda flat bonnet (possibly). Navigation, digital TV, ETC, backup camera, spare tire. Recent maintenance (2–5 years): brake master inner kit, brake master back, clutch release cylinder, clutch master cylinder, flexible hose, speedometer cable, upper and lower hoses, power steering hose. Some OEM parts retained. Vehicle inspection valid until October 2026. Currently used 2 days per week including commute; basic functions (drive, steer, stop) are adequate. Known issues: cold-start difficulty below 10°C (improves after warm-up, likely a tuning matter); AC compressor appears functional but weak, needs R12 gas check and refill; coolant leak (packing replacement likely fixes); clutch engage produces rattling/clattering noise (suspect release bearing or clutch). Vehicle does not currently meet inspection requirements in present form; some inspection parts available (included with buy-it-now). This is a rotary-era tuning machine; not for stock-preference buyers. Restoration history unknown but seller notes no visible major frame work or obvious accident repair, though not professionally verified. Personal sale, as-is, no claim/no return.

Cold-start issues below 10°C, AC weak (R12 refrigerant needed), coolant leak, clutch rattling. Does not currently meet inspection standards in present tune. Seller advises this is an old rotary-tuned car with character, not a modern-condition vehicle.
