1979 Kawasaki KZ550A (frame KZ550A-0002, engine KZ550AE000271) imported new from the US, unregistered domestically. Comes with customs clearance certificate, transfer certificate, and original US title. Registration in Japan is confirmed possible; manufacturer certificate of origin can be obtained if needed.
Frame and suspension have no accident history but show light tip-over damage. Starter motor functions and compression is good, but the engine does not currently run and has not been test-ridden; transmission and drivetrain condition unknown. No oil leaks. No fin damage. Front brake is non-functional. Rear brake is missing. Fuel tank cap is stuck and interior unknown. Electrical system untested. One key present, fully functional. Fork inner tubes in good condition with no rust.
Sold as a restoration and rebuild base bike with numerous missing parts. Described as having incidental damage and wear consistent with 40+ years age; seller does not warrant against issues found only during disassembly or not mentioned in this description.
