Kawasaki KSR-1 50cc 2-stroke sports moped. Purchased used from a bike shop in May 2013 and owned continuously for approximately 13 years. The seller has addressed known KSR-1/2 weaknesses including oil tank protection (SUS441 oil tank protector installed 2023; tank itself rebuilt 2020) and regulator reliability (replaced with manufacturer countermeasure kit 2023). Headlight and tail lamp converted to LED in 2019. Carburetor cleaned in 2026. The motorcycle was ridden regularly until plate return in September 2026 and starts reliably via kickstart. Currently requires battery replacement; lights function normally despite this. Odometer shows 10,248 km (KSR-1 meter); meter was swapped to KSR-2 for approximately 1,300 km at one period, so estimated total distance around 11,548 km, though meter exchange history exists. Sold as odometer readings not guaranteed. Comes with six keys (two mains, two handlebar lock/fuel tank, two seat removal). Tire and brake maintenance performed regularly; front and rear tires replaced with road-use tires in 2015 and retain tread but are age-old. Seat replaced with rebuilt unit in 2021; no major tears or hardening. Includes practical rear carrier. Never crashed since 2013 purchase. Engine runs, steers, stops, idles, and revs smoothly; appears to have rev limiter removed (CDI swap suspected pre-purchase, details unknown). Exterior shows scratches, paint fade, surface rust, and age-appropriate wear consistent with a 30-year-old vehicle; garage-stored until 2020, then covered storage. Speed warning lamp does not illuminate. Sold as-is; plate already returned, cannot be street-tested. Deregistration paperwork included.
