Kawasaki GPZ1000RX non-runner offered as-is for restoration. The seller purchased this multi-owner example approximately four years ago from a dealer with the intention to transplant the engine into another vehicle; that project was shelved and the bike is now being sold ahead of a move.
Odometer reads approximately 13,600 miles. Battery is dead, preventing startup and electrical verification. The seller notes the bike started when acquired but had fuel tank rust and carburetor tuning issues. Throttle cable moves but is stiff; clutch lever has feel but the release mechanism likely needs overhaul. Front and rear brakes appear functional. Fuel tank shows rust with paint loss; right side cowl has abrasion scuffs; right side cover is cracked. The seller acknowledges there may be additional undiscovered issues.
Restoration will require battery replacement, fuel tank rust removal, carburetor overhaul, and clutch release service at minimum. Includes documents and keys. No in-person inspection permitted due to prior theft concerns.
