JBL A30G A15G 6×9 inch vintage speaker set of 4 with spacer, full restoration

A set of four vintage JBL speakers: a pair of A30G coaxial speakers and a pair of A15G front speakers. The seller has fully restored all components, including disassembly, frame work, re-edging the woofer cones with cloth, and refinishing all surfaces. The aluminum basket frames were sand-cast; cones use the original tulip shape. Both models feature piezoelectric tweeters. Specifications: 4 ohm impedance, 93 dB SPL, 40 W max input, 30 Hz–15 kHz response. The seller states these are the flagship A-Series models, the original JBL car speaker line, and praises their tonal character—rich midrange closer to Altec than modern JBL, ideal for 1950s–60s jazz. All surfaces have been refinished: hairline finish restored on aluminum, cone and tweeter repainted with period-correct paint, magnet and yoke disassembled and re-glued with epoxy for permanent alignment. Sarannet grille also repainted and undamaged. Frame shows expected sand-casting texture but no scratches. Spacer JBL badge shows age-appropriate orange fading. Eight mounting screws included. The seller has restored many of these sets and reports the piezoelectric tweeters have remained functional, attributing this to their magnet-free design. Overhauled and re-edged with shim centering; handles high-level input without issue. Functional warranty through three months after transaction completion.
