Japanese National Railway enamel nameplate sabo 'Kurohime' railway sign

A railway enthusiast's family collection item. This is a nameplate (sabo) from Japanese National Railway service, bearing the name 'Kurohime' (Black Princess). The seller notes uncertainty about the exact material and construction: it may be enamel-painted metal sheet rather than true enamel, and acknowledges that replica versions of such nameplates exist in the collector market. The seller has limited railway expertise and cannot definitively distinguish this piece from replicas. Condition should be assessed from the photographs. The item is metal construction but shows wear consistent with age and use.

Seller lists condition as 傷や汚れあり (scratches and dirt present). Assess full condition from photographs; the seller has limited expertise in this category.
