Description

Late-model Honda NS-1 offered as a restoration base. Engine starts and runs: carburetor-fed direct injection, battery jump-started, confirmed to idle smoothly and rev to redline with no major abnormal noise. However, the bike is not currently rideable.

Exterior: Aftermarket FRP front upper and lower fairings; remainder appears original. Seat cowl has cracked tabs near fuel filler and open seams on both sides. Scattered scratches and paint loss throughout, but no major damage beyond the cowl seam gap. All four turn signal lenses are clear. Seat has dirt and scuff marks but no tears; surface material is soft and appears usable. Fuel tank interior shows discolored gasoline with green deposits; no severe rust observed. Fuel cap key is missing.

Chassis: Front forks and rear suspension appear shot. Both wheels show paint loss and peeling. Front and rear brakes need overhaul. Chain requires replacement. Front tire is flat with severed air valve; rear tire holds air but valve has cracks. Both tires show tread with no cracking, so may be salvageable. Carburetor has fuel seepage; gasket replacement required. Electrical: lights and tachometer confirmed working. Speedometer untested. Charging system untested but battery showed no excessive drain during start. Clutch and transmission not checked. Overall heavily weathered with rust, scratches, dirt, and paint loss throughout—a complete restoration project.

Restoration base vehicle with significant weathering, rust, scratches, paint loss, and damage throughout. Engine runs but bike is not roadworthy; brakes, suspension, tires, and chassis components need work or overhaul.
