Pioneer-manufactured OEM audio unit for GX71 Mark II hardtop and Chaser (Avante and above), GT Twin Turbo variants. Integrated AM/FM electronic tuner, cassette deck, and amplifier. Front output 8W x2, rear 16W x2, total 48W. Metal tape auto-detection and Dolby NR function. LED button illumination. 9+5 pin power harness connector (early GX71 spec, also used on AE86). Seller confirmed radio operation: AM/FM reception works without issues on local stations. Buttons show minor paint wear consistent with a 40-year-old unit, interior very clean. Cassette deck requires repair: tape loads but does not rotate, suspected belt breakage. Motor makes sounds but mechanism stalled. Volume control has intermittent contact noise. One LCD backlight bulb burned out. Sold as junk; additional repairs may be needed. No claims, no returns, no cancellations accepted.
