FD3S RX-7 custom meter assembly by LMS (LED Meter Services), based on a genuine Type 4 FD3S meter assembly. Features a 300km/h full-scale speedometer with rotary rotor motif design in the center. Seller previously owned and used this on a Type 4 FD3S, where it lit and functioned normally (see photo 3 for in-car illumination). When the seller later attempted to install this into a Type 5 FD3S, the connector fit but caused engine control anomalies (idle and exhaust issues), so it was removed and the original meter reinstalled. Type 4 and Type 5/6 meter PCBs and vehicle-side specs differ; cross-fitting this complete assembly to Type 5/6 is not recommended. Buyer must verify compatibility and any needed modifications for other chassis. Long-term indoor storage since removal; no current function verification possible as seller no longer owns a Type 4. Operated normally when last used on Type 4 but current operation is not guaranteed. Sold as-is. Complete meter assembly shown in photos.
