1988 Honda MC18 NSR250R SP in Rothmans colors. Comes with comprehensive liability insurance through June 2012. The seller has ridden only 500 km since purchasing in June 2025. The previous owner performed a full engine overhaul in 2021 and had ridden it minimally since then. The engine produces 58 horsepower (measured stock and with limiter cut). Engine overhaul work included Labyrinth seal, rebuilt crankshaft, reinforced engine mounts, link repair kit (Dogfight), reinforced shift drum stopper, water pump gear (DMR), EG wet blast, case deburring, carburetor OH and synchronization, primary crankshaft oil seal (T2), cylinder replating with pin removal and feathering, discontinued needle set, Sunstar front sprocket, ZAM rear sprocket, and RK520R chain. Approximately 1.5 million yen in Honda OEM parts replaced during overhaul, with total work cost around 700,000 yen. Engine carries Inoue Boring serial number; work performed and documented by established shop. Engine replating addresses NSR's known center seal weakness. Currently registered with valid liability insurance, test ride possible. Non-original front fender, Chinese-made front fork. Bottom case reportedly MC21 fitment; handlebar fitment uncertain.
