1985 Kawasaki KR250S offered as a restoration base or parts bike. Seller acquired two units from a dismantler around 1993 and modified them over time. Recently completed a restoration and test rode it, but the bike overheated with white smoke. The water pump shaft was spinning freely; attempts to repair it stripped the threads and caused further damage. Engine starts but coolant does not circulate, and transmission oil has entered the cooling system. Modifications include: front and rear suspension from early ZXR250, Mac Lane rearsets, custom candy green paint, NSR seat, Goose seat cowl, dash cam, and light vehicle ETC unit. The bike cannot self-propel and must be collected by truck or transported by the buyer. The seller notes this is a parts-only or restoration project and advises checking the linked Google Photos and YouTube video before bidding. Sold as-is, no warranty, no returns.
Overall condition poor. Engine starts but cooling system inoperable due to water pump damage; transmission oil contaminated into cooling circuit. Seller grades this as junk (ジャンク).
