Rare 1982 Toyota Celica XX (GA61), a 2-door coupe with retractable headlights. Engine is a twin-cam unit sourced from another XX and mated to the original 5-speed manual transmission. Extensive restoration with many new and rare parts: headers, intermediate pipe, clutch, clutch case, LSD. Engine, transmission case, and suspension components have been blasted and plated. Custom carbon fiber gauge panel with Oomori meter. Suspension upgraded to coilovers with 13-inch Speedstar Mark III wheels, aligned. Full exterior repaint; front and rear fenders have been cut and are not easily reversible. Interior shows age-appropriate wear but has been cleaned; seats in relatively good condition. One owner has had the car for a long time and has invested heavily in restoration. In-cab fuel pump operation and resonance noises present. Engine and transmission ran well previously but now hesitates above 2500 rpm and will not rev fully; injectors were recently overhauled. Fuel flow may be restricted. Odometer reads unknown mileage.
