1980 Yamaha SR250 Special, low-mileage, serviced, video available, excellent exhaust sound

1980 Yamaha SR250 Special from Sapporo. The seller acquired this 50,000 km two-owner machine and performed comprehensive maintenance for personal use. Currently kept in a collection of nine motorcycles; the seller is decluttering.

Maintenance completed: front fork oil, front and rear brake inspection and cleaning (7/10 remaining), engine oil and new oil filter, new air filter, carburetor overhaul with fuel adjustment, wire inspection and lubrication, new spark plug, new battery, tappet clearance adjustment, and cam chain tension adjustment.

Customizations: aftermarket muffler with modified internal silencer tuned for single-cylinder character; handlebar changed from stock pullback to upright position; rear suspension upgraded to Suzuki Intruder 250 unit; blow-by hose converted to filter type for better response; engine fins and crankcase polished.

Condition: runs and drives. Odometer shows approximately 6000 km (seller continues to ride). Tires have good tread; chain and sprockets in good order. Tank interior chrome intact. Front forks rust-free. Fine paint crazing on right front of tank (no leakage); headlight cover has a thin crack protected with black waterproof tape. Lights (headlight, turn signals, brake lamps) function normally. Seller video confirms condition and exhaust note.

Stated as "slightly worn and soiled" (やや傷や汚れあり). Fine paint crazing on right front tank and thin crack in headlight cover are noted defects. Brake pads 7/10 remaining.
